Port GCC4CIL to GCC 4.4 and combine with ICI 2.0
Description: We believe that our community needs a collaborative JIT and a virtualization platform to continue research on adaptive split compilation and parallelization. One of the options is to port GCC4CIL to GCC 4.4, combine it with ICI 2.0 and CCC Framework, and evaluate split compilation using cBench on MONO, for example. At the same time we can evaluate LLVM infrastructure.

Evaluate LLVM vs. GCC4CIL, GCC ICI and MONO
Description: There are proc&cons to use LLVM infrastructure and GCC4CIL as collaborative R&D tools. We suggest to try to evaluate their performance and optimizations on a fine grain level using ICI. Actually we may want to use GCC as JIT one day since it has many aggressive optimizations already.
